Gilson Daub (GDI) has for years been the leader in Workers Compensation legal defense, and last week it’s people from the Operations Center in Dana Point and many of the attorneys from multiple GDI offices proved once again that GDI is also number one in culinary excellence as well.
Every three months the company has a competition to see who can win the coveted first prize for cooking prowess, and this luncheon was no exception. Experienced and aspiring GDI chefs competed in two categories, Wings - Appetizers and/or Cookies. The entries numbered over 30 selections, with a wide range of cold and hot appetizers, wings and cookies/desserts.
The winner of the Wings – Appetizer dish, Grant McCreary, repeated his win from the last competition, defeating all comers with his rendition of Buffalo Chicken Dip. Grant and his team of attorneys are the Lien Department for GDI.
The winner of the Cookie/Dessert category was Sean Lowry with a Toffee Smore that blew the competition away. Sean has recently moved into the E-Filing Department.
