Ricardo Diaz is a diligent and committed advocate who uses his background in employment litigation and alternative dispute resolution to achieve the most cost-effective means to a favorable result. In law school, Mr. Diaz served as president of the Latina/o Law Student Association, and also obtained a certificate from the number one school for alternative dispute resolution—the Straus Institute—where he gained invaluable skills in negotiations, mediation, and arbitration. Integral to a strong workers’ compensation defense is keeping the cost of medical care down. During his employment with the AARP Foundation, Mr. Diaz assisted with the Foundation’s legal initiative to keep the price of generic medications low in the landmark Supreme Court patent case, Cuozzo Speed Technologies v. Lee. During his free time Mr. Diaz enjoys playing the piano, snowboarding, and watching his favorite team: the Los Angeles Lakers.
